In Louisiana, two cities were on that list: Baton Rouge (2 sites) and New Orleans (1 site). The idea was simple: bring providers where children spend the majority of their time… school! We now know that when health and education unite, the full potential of our children is realized: attendance improves, conditions like asthma are managed, behavioral health concerns receive quick, expert attention… And so much more. |
